MTI Group form Hong Kong featured the TruScreen system this
year, which is an electro-optical technology that provides a direct means
of tissue differentiation as a primary screening tool for cervical cancer and
precancerous change. The TruScreen system provides a real-time result
from the portable device, which saves the time and effort in delivering
samples to laboratories for analysis and reporting.Maggie Shi, theGeneral
Manager, appreciated the fair to provide a platform to demonstrate their
latest product to the potential buyers, and they expected to meet more
healthcare professionalswith the concurrentHospital AuthorityConvention.
NicholasHan, SeniorMaterialsManager of SuperiorMedical Limited
from Canada, a buyer, was looking for cryosurgery and colposcopy
products in the fair and happy to find a laser crossover infrared light
technology as a bonus. They could also get themselves updated on what
is in the market, get connected with the suppliers, browse their products
and meet new contacts.
Vietnam’s buyer TV Pharm Pharmaceutical Joint-stock Company
was happy that they had already placed 5 orders on the pharmacist and
medical products during the first morning in the fair.
Japan’s buyerHisashi Iwase of Agilent Technologies JapanLtd. appreciated
the buyers’ tour which provided him with a clear picture on the industry
updates, newproducts available, and the latest development. He sincerely
believed that Hong Kong would continue to be the hub of analytical
instruments and life science industry that connects Asia and the world.
The fair provided information exchange opportunity including seminars
examining innovative technology for the healthcare industry, regulatory
updates for medical devices and procurement trends for medical devices.
Also in the spotlight were the Exhibitor Forums as well as a Buyer Forum
on business opportunities in Southeast Asia.
