IKA introduces many new products to the
market in this show. Ms. Neideck told Innolab
that IKA is trying to be different amongst the
competitors while complying with related
regulations. “In this show, you can see the
video presenting about our products. We also
do a lot of social media. It is really important
to offer up-to-date lab equipment. In addition,
we goto universities, so young people can see
what we do.Industry and applications are
developing; you should develop new things
to the industry. We are aware that regulations
will be stricter but IKA’s products do not have
a problem about those regulations.”
The goal of IKA in analytica Vietnam
is to strengthen the customer relationship.
IKA participated in certain event to talk to
customers, to hear what theywant to say. “We
are right there to communicate with customers.
That is why Vietnamese customers have been
known us for so long.”
IKA have prepared a Kuala Lumpur -
Malaysia office to serve customers all over the
Southeast Asia.They have a plan to enter very
new markets in SEA, even little information
such as methods used and infrastructures are
available. As a short termplan, IKA considers
customer relationship as the most important
job. “IKA has been in the market for over 100
years. If we can maintain the relationship,
customers will come back and ask for your
products.” Ms. Neideck concluded.
Microlit
Mr. Aviral Jain sees a great market opportunity,
because new research and development are
happening a lot in the laboratory fields. He
told Innolab that companies are emerging
in the Asian market especially in laboratory
sector because a lot of outsourcing has been
done in the region. “Because of this, there are
requirement for laboratory products. Another
reason is cost effectiveness in the Asian
market attracts the new investment. So there
is a market for liquid handling products and
equipment companies as well.” That is why
Microlit has participated analytica Vietnam
for the first time. The company found that
the response is very impressive. “Even it is a
small country, we have a great prospective.
The show is very attractive.This cannot make
you meet international visitors but you will
see local distributors and customers from
Vietnam and some neighboring countries
such as Cambodia.”, said Mr. Jain.
There are several big players in liquid
handling industry form Germany, European
countries and the US. These companies
offer great quality liquid handling products.
Microlit strategy is providing competitive
price. Mr. Jain explained that “Microlit offers
same quality, same quality assurance, same
quality check with all required certifications
and any requirement with competitive price.
This is important because here is a very price-
sensitive market.”
As a short termplan, Microlit will join some
more exhibitions such as inThailand, Malaysia,
China andHong Kong.The company is trying
to get a better engagement in this market. It
has planned to announce some distributors
in China and Vietnam.

Many different brands and suppliers in laboratory
glasswaremarket offer different quality and price
level to customers inAsia pacific region. DURAN

workers and employees which guarantees the
product success. The company can make sure
product safety and reliability. People really can

Mr. Kreke saw that growing industry is
biotechnology and pharmaceutical, including
food and beverage industry in Thailand and
Vietnam which results growing of laboratory
market. “There is increasing demand for quality
control.We launched or developed product to fulfill
these needs and provided complete documents
and certifications. A lot of product is used in the
industry as primary packaging, for analysis or
sample shipping. So there are high demands for
a clear production processes and documentation.
As seen in Chinese food scandals, that the trend
of food and pharmaceutical industry is stricter
regulation.”
DURAN Group always shares with its
distributors about the needs of customers. “It is
important to understand their application needs
and requirement regards to quality aspects, and
understand how they work with our products to
make them easier and safer or more convenient
and more economic products”, said Mr. Kreke.
Mr. Kreke added that the ASEAN is very
interesting market and believed that there will
be a great opportunity in the near future. “We
are promoting new products and we would like
to become the leading brand in Asia”.
