Shea butter -
Alternative for
Sustainable
Cosmetic
Production
Petroleum products used
in cosmetics, including
mineral oil and petrolatum
are consumable resources.
In the other hand, shea has
a long life span and can be
cultivated and harvested
throughout its life. It is thus
considered a sustainable
source. In addition shea
butter is also environmentally
friendly as it candecompose
naturally.
