Biogas
Biogas is natural gas from digested organic materials such as
plant, fish, living organism, and agro-process wastewater for
examples.The digestion process is undergone under anaerobic
condition bymicroorganism. Gas fromdecomposition process
is consist of 45-80% of methane (CH 4) which is clear, scentless
and flammable, and 30-50% of carbon dioxide. The trace
compositions are ammonia (NH 3) hydrogen sulfide (H2S),
nitrogen (N2), hydrogen (H 2) and vapor. Specific heat of biogas
with 60% methane is 21 MJ/m3.
ก๊าซชีวภาพ
ก๊าซชีวภาพ คื อ ก๊าซที่เกิดขึ้นตามธรรมชาติจากการย่ อยสลายสาร
อินทรีย์ เช่น ซากพืช ซากสิ่งมีชีวิต ซากและของเสี ยจากสัตว์ น้ำ�ทิ้ง
จากโรงงานแปรรูปผลิตภัณฑ์เกษตร ฯลฯ โดยกระบวนการย่อยสลาย
ทั้งหมดเกิ ดขึ้นจากการทำ�งานของจุ ลินทรีย์ภายใต้ สภาวะที่ปราศจาก
ออกซิเจน ในกระบวนการย่อยสลายจะผลิตก๊าซที่ ก่อให้เกิดพลังงานที่
ประกอบด้วยก๊าซหลายชนิด ส่ วนใหญ่เป็นก๊าซมีเทน (CH4) 45-80%
ซึ่งมีคุณสมบัติ ไม่มีสี ไม่มีกลิ่ นและติดไฟได้ ก๊าซคาร์ บอนไดออกไซด์
(CO2) ประมาณ 30-50% ส่วนที่เหลื อเป็นก๊าซชนิดอื่นๆ เช่น แอมโมเนีย
(NH3) ไฮโดรเจนซัลไฟด์ (H2S) ไนโตรเจน (N2) ไฮโดรเจน (H 2) และ
ไอน้ำ� เป็นต้ น ก๊าซชีวภาพมีค่าความร้อนประมาณ 21 เมกะจูลต่อ
ลูกบาศก์เมตร ที่สัดส่วนของก๊ าซมีเทน 60%
